This Video Will Open Your Eyes About Street Harassment

Poet Olivia Cole shared this video of her poem “Wednesday” to convey how horrible street harassment can make you feel. I got chills and could definitely relate. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on the subway when a man thought it was okay to touch me inappropriately. If you’ve never experienced street harassment or don’t think it’s a big deal, I urge you to watch this and see how it makes you feel.

Columbia University Student Will Drag Her Mattress Around Campus Until Her Rapist Is Gone

"I think the act of carrying something that is normally found in our bedroom out into the light is supposed to mirror the way I’ve talked to the media and talked to different news channels, etc," Emma continues in the full video which you can watch here.

There’s nothing wrong with sex, people.

- Having sex every day.
- Saving sex for your wedding night.
- Never having sex.
- Having sex with different people.
- Having sex with one person.
- Having sex with a person of your same gender.
- Loving sex.
- Hating sex.
- Being loud.
- Being quiet.

The only thing wrong with sex?

When it’s not consensual.

Because that’s not sex. That’s rape.
